A Nervous System–Led Approach

Trust Your Gut:
Nervous System Relief for IBS & Digestion

Resolve the “visceral hypersensitivity” and vagal dysregulation behind bloating, pain, and food reactivity.

The Anxious Belly

Digestive issues are rarely just about food.

Visceral Tension

A constant sense of tightness or "visceral tension" in the abdomen.

Reactivity

The stomach reacts to stress with immediate pain or bloating.

The Brain-Gut Loop

Anxiety causes stomach pain, and stomach pain causes anxiety.

It's Not Just What You Eat

You may have tried elimination diets (FODMAP, gluten-free) with limited success. This is because the issue is often Visceral Hypersensitivity.
Think of it like this:

Your gut nerves are amplifying normal digestion signals into pain signals. Diet changes don’t fix the nerves.

The Vagus Nerve Connection

The gut is the “second brain,” connected by the Vagus Nerve.

Sympathetic Shutdown

"Sympathetic overdrive" inhibits digestion. If you are stressed, your body diverts blood away from the gut, causing cramping and stagnation.

Sensory Amplification

"Visceral hypersensitivity" means the volume on gut sensations is turned up too high.

BioCoding™ Fix

We use movements that "enhance vagal tone", turning the digestive system back 'on' and turning the pain volume 'off'.

The BioCoding™ Approach

Calming the Core

BioCoding™ targets the “autonomic and limbic overactivation” that hits the gut. By facilitating spontaneous release of tension in the core, we restore the “parasympathetic dominance” required for healthy peristalsis (gut movement).

Client Success

James's Story

Ceased entirely

Panic attacks

Expanded

Emotional range

James lived with generalised anxiety marked by thrice-weekly panic attacks and constant visceral tension under chronic work pressure. Mapping showed amygdala-driven sympathetic loops and low vagal tone, keeping his system locked on high alert.

Through The Recode programme, BioCoding™ used gentle sighs and spirals across 12 sessions to recalibrate limbic thresholds, releasing the physical tension held in his body and restoring autonomic balance.

By completion, panic attacks ceased entirely and emotional range expanded.

“BioCoding™ retrained my brain’s panic button. I now speak publicly with ease, no longer braced for the next wave.”
These anonymised examples reflect aggregated client data from Hollyanna Vellichor’s practice. Individual results may vary. BioCoding™ is a complementary approach and should not replace medical advice.

The Process

Through the The Recode programme, we use gentle micro-movements to foster “glial modulation” – calming the immune cells in your nervous system that cause inflammation.

01

No Forcing

Sessions never push your sensitive system beyond its current capacity. We always respect your gut’s limits and current state.

02

Micro-Movements

Precise, gentle gestures that speak directly to your autonomic system no intense manipulation or dietary pressure.

03

Brain-Gut Axis & Vagal Modulation

Addressing suppressed parasympathetic drive and heightened visceral sensitivity that sustain IBS cycles, helping restore balanced gut signalling safely.

04

Nervous-System Pacing & Gut Re-education

Each session responds to what your body needs that day, gradually rebuilding tolerance and predictable digestive function.

Your Questions Answered

Is IBS 'all in my head'?

No, it is in your nervous system. It is a physical “dysregulation within the central and autonomic nervous systems” that affects how the gut functions.

The Vagus Nerve is the primary switch for digestion. “Enhancing vagal tone” physically stimulates the stomach and intestines to process food correctly.

Yes. Bloating is often caused by a “freeze” response in the gut muscles. Releasing “dorsal vagal shutdown” allows the muscles to move normally again.

We recommend sticking to what feels safe, but many clients find that as their “visceral hypersensitivity” decreases, they can reintroduce foods they previously couldn’t tolerate.
